Hello Guys/Gals,
I lost FPV 2 days ago on my P2V. Just a black screen,
I had no satellite signal, no sd card telemetry, no battery life,
Nothing! I tried rebinding my extender, nothing?
So I figured something happened inside camera housing?
I removed the camera to inspect, opened the housing to find
Tons of dirt, grass, sand, and other debris! I could not believe there
Was so much crap inside, I thought no wonder it does not work!
Turned out I did the binding process wrong, I rebound and all is
Ok again! Please take the time to open camera now and again, to
Inspect for debris! And be careful on sand take offs ( beach ect! )

To bind extender:
1) turn on extender, Tx, and phantom
2) wait till you receive wi-if signal ( on smart device )
3) press reset and hold until SYSTEM LIGHT goes off
4) wait till you receive wi-go signal again
5) hook up to signal
6) open app
7) under settings, choose BINDING scroll to bottom
8) choose SCAN QR CODE
9) scan code on box phantom came in ( or get code from DJI )
10) you will now have a new MAC address
11) CLICK THE BLUE ARROW ( top right screen ) to accept new address
12) turn off everything ( power cycle )
13) turn on ( extender, Tx, phantom ) all should work!
( I was forgetting to press blue button before power cycling phantom! )

Just wanted to share, as I found this quite upsetting, the amount of debris
Inside camera!

My bird is like new again, no debris in camera, I also put a piece of filter foam
Into the little holes under camera housing to try to help with future invasions!

Take care, fly safe!

This is good food for thought

I take off and land on grass so I hope the camera doesn't suck in dirt like that
