Has anyone tried to attach one of these cheap HD keyring cams to their Phantom? The output looks pretty decent and I'm thinking about attaching one to face in the opposite direction of the Vision cam and have it record the entire flight. It also has a decent microphone... It looks like it goes for around $50...

I have one. They are light, easy to mount and simple. But...

The video quality is even worse than the stock Vision camera. I just run my stabilized GoPro instead.

If video quality isn't a priority then I'm sure folks will love them.

Can you set it up to do a series of stills... Or does taking frames out of the video solve part of the problem? (I'm assuming jello is an issue... )

Thanks...

I have seen a quite good one which shoots 60fps with 1080p and 80fps with 720p.
I will try it but I think that it is good for recording a 2 nd view on one flight but the video quality will be not better with such a small lens....
For better video quality you will need a gopro - does anyone already do a test by mounting a gopro under the regular cam? Can this work?
