Hey gang,

Any network pros around? I'm thinking it should theoretically be possible to strap a light weight 4g mobile Hotspot to the phantom and have it act as a bridge and VPN (or something equivalent) to operate the FPV over a cell network. Thoughts? Given that the Phantom runs openwrt I don't see this as a problem from the Phantom itself, but whether or not there is a mini Hotspot that is capable of running these things. A lightweight Android phone may even work.

LOL, yes depending on where you live it might be prohibitive but I'm thinking of a pay-as-you-go option. Similar to how people have to have sim cards for GPS trackers.

Or just strap your iPhone to the bird and use "Find my iPhone" in case of a fly away in addition to a hotspot.
