3rd party charger HELP Please!

Where the power cord plugs into the port on the side isn't a great connection. Put the batteries on to charge and then push in on the power cord there and see if it kicks in. It must be all of the way in, but once in it should stay on. Charge either the batteries or the remote,

Thanks for the reply. I have done that.
When I first plugged it in, they had a small current you could see between the plug and the outlet ( like an arc). I don't know, if that caused the problem or not. I mean I've had that happen to other appliances when plugging in on occasion, and it never messed them up. I'm just so disappointed after waiting for weeks to get it, and now it's not working.
