Interesting. Did you test?
Dis-assembles for transport? What battery did you use? If battery fails does Antenna function normally?

I did not test yet. You can deattach the antenna for transport.

I think the antenna will work without the extender if it fails, but im not sure.

awesome. post results when you try. I think that just the 8db gain antenna makes a difference.

I'd like to see a test too. first, just use the antenna-no booster-fly til fail-safe, then repeat with booster. try and maintain a fairly low altitude-like 30m, so you clear obstacles, but don't have to fly out past a mile......repeat.

wonder if it will work on other tax's. i ordered one to test cause i can only get 1.3 miles on mine and i have just flew in the desert with nothing around for miles

Google the phantom antenna mod. Someone extended his range x3 by just changing stock antenna to 8db gain antenna. But antenna is 3x size too. Lol

I can imagine if we amplify with this thing it should be better.
