2.4 or 5.8 antenna

Hoi,
Is there a difference between a 2.4 and a 5.8 omni 3dbi antenna for my transmitter, or can i use both?

I bought this one it works on both frequencies ----->Dual Band (2.4/5 GHz) 5 dBi RP-SMA Wi-Fi blade antenna for 802.11ac /n

Beario. How did you attach the antenna to the transmitter? Did it just screw on?

You have to mod the radio in order to attach an antenna to it. Here is the video from Youtube. I have done 4 of these for all of the radios on my FC40's. I have gone out a little over 2 KM with this antenna without any issues.

Okay thanks. I have seen this video before. Doesn't look to difficult at all. I see he used the intermediate 5.8 Ghz antennae
