2.4 ghz amp

Hi there !

I have a phantom 2 vision + and I bought a 2.4 ghz 2w amp and modified the wifi range extender.
I'm using a 8dbi antenna and i'm getting half of the range that i would without amplifier!!
I noticed that the video is very sloppy even at close range in the smallest preview quality!
What can be wrong?

I had the same issues then I installed a 6db attenuator. Installed it between the extender and the amp and now working great. No issues now
