I'm totally new to antenna mods so be gentle if I ask a stupid question. First, thanks for posting this. It's helpful.

You listed both a patch antenna and that Sunhans amp which also appears to have an antenna. I can't tell from the photo of the controller - where is the patch antenna? It looks like the Sunhans is pigtailed to the controller.

yes, that's correct.. flytrex for flight data and dashware to overlay the graphics in the video.

What a nice video. I just bought my Vision+ today and im waiting for it to come. I will only be using Android devices and was wondering if they have a wifi extender for Android?

yes, the app is available on android as well. I would suggest though to get use to flying the vision+ first (if you are not already familiar or had previous quads) before installing the app.

Good instruction and clear pictures. I like the flexibility of your 5.8G amplifier setup with the clamp. If you don't fly long range, you may simply bypass the 5.8G amp. Great idea. :D

thanks Tony..it took a good while to come up with a mounting solution for the amp. at first I had it velco'd on the top of the transmitter case but it wasn't very stable due to the weight of the amp..looked around and saw my clamp on my old vision and decided to use that..not all that in the looks department but works great.

I think your setup it's much easier to adjust the aiming angle to the aircraft with the clamp ball joint. I found sometimes it's hard to adjust between 5.8G aiming angle when I screw the patch direct to the controller's pigtail and FPV screen glaring.

Why? What's the goal here?

It would be cool if you were able to capture interesting video along the way but slow flying super boring video over mundane territory begs the question.

What's the point other than putting viewers to sleep?

Why should people think it is interesting?
