After spending some time with Hubsan, I took my Vision+ out to fly. Since area I live in Nashville, TN is not really wide open, I went down to area that horse race is held called Percy Warner Park. It was definitely fun! I had less worries since it handles whole lot better than my little Hub.

Congrats! Can't wait to see your first vid. Did you need the prop guards?..was going to try my first outing without them but realise it's better to be safe than sry.
 
Nice! Thanks for posting. Make absolutely sure when you take those prop guards off, you use the correct screws on the motor mounts. I learned the hard way :(
 
Here's a short one from across the street

I'm in Nashville too and often fly at the Edwin Warner model flying field across Old Hickory from the steeple chase. Here's a short video from the other day where I was practicing some "zoom-ins." I have some brief footage of a hawk, a friend's phantom 2 and the steeple chase in the distance.
