We attempted to drive to Mount Arvon but ran into icy roads just a few miles from the top. My 2wd truck was not up for the challenge and when I came to a very icy downward slope that I wasn't sure I could make it back up I decided to turn around. As a backup plan we headed to Point Abbaye at the tip of the Skanee peninsula, where the roads were muddy but there was no snow or ice. We had fun at the tip and I flew my drone before having a picnic and building a huge Inukshuk on the beach.
