Hi!
I'm looking to upgrade my current 5.8GHz VTX setup for a 1.2GHz.

CP antennas seem a bit unwieldy to mount on a Phantom.
Does anyone have some experience in that area?
What about V or dipole antennas?

I'll be using 433 for the control link.

Assuming you are using 2.4Ghz as your control, isnt there a huge problem using 1.2Ghz in that it is a harmonic of 2.4Ghz.

I thought that was a big no-no.

I have a DJI Phantom 2 Vision + 3.0 - the 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz interference where I fly is so bad, I want to go to 433mhz on the control and 1.2ghz on the vid-

sunsky 800mw 1.2ghz transmitter and a Lawmate 1.2Ghz receiver, they are the best gear available..
For the 433mhz?
My choice of a P2V+ exposes my "newbie"ness...
So I plan to get US Level 1 License-

and ask folks like you and others for input- and I will test and post results.
Lastly with all I spent, I have little left for mods, but know the ROI in returning to home is $ well spent.
Please advise if any want to see my 433mhz choices/reseach and I'l post.
Thanks and best,
