1.0.40 DJI Vision (android)

I'm a new P2V+ owner with android and I also experienced the bad FPV with 1.0.40.

I tried 1.0.38 as some have recommended but when I tried it, I was unable to control the gimbal tilt. just locked at 45 degrees.

Now i'm gonna try 1.039 and see if its better. what is the most reliable preview? I want to clearly see what I'm filming but connectivity is more important.

I've been using 1.0.40 since it came out over a month ago, with both my P2V and my P2V+, a total of 40 flights. Yesterday I was out testing the booster app on the P2V+ and realized I hadn't really done any distance flights (max had been 2000'). Flying in an area without interference, low humidity, light wind at 75F (ie perfect conditions), without boosting, I had solid 640x480@15 FPV until I lost control around 4000', 4100' and then 4200'. With the booster it went over a mile. Using 320x240@15, I went out to 6200' and lost control. In all these tests I never lost FPV. I could fly in any orientation too which was nice. The P2V only works sideways at extreme range. I also did some tests at 640x480@30 and was surprised to see FPV working smoothly at 3500'. All with no mods (other than the booster app). I ended up not really able to test the booster since I am always losing control rather than FPV. Need a better 5.8 antenna!

I used previous app versions on my Nexus 10 fine, but lately have just been flying with my Samsung S3 running Android 4.3 (Verizon). I just have to say the 1.0.40 app is working great here.

When you say "Bad FPV" what do you mean? How much wifi interference is there where you fly? What's the humidity level?
