poi indoor inside

Has anyone tried to do a POI style capture indoors? I've done this outside, but I'd like to use a drone in my studio to photograph / capture antique cars and trucks. I'd like to hover in a circle in my warehouse, but it seems that POI relies on GPS. Has anyone tried doing this? Dexter
