phantom standard 3; frame rate

What is the max frame rate for 2.7k video? I read reviews on the internet that you could get 30 fps - but my app only allows 24 or 25. Some of my videos looks laggy - it seems like they drop frames. Can you also please tell me what the best settings is for taking video / pictures in the app...
