camera doesn't work

Batteries are charged, P3 wi fi is connected, DJI GO app is running. When I can get a lighted photo button, most of the time when I push it, the shutter sound does not occur and the picture does not "take". I am wondering if the camera is malfunctioning. Also get "remote controller signal...
