I was able to produce a map through Hivemapper, I just do not remember seeing those files.

So I made my first map, some of the video is still uploading to Hivemapper. I only saw one file so I assume the video captions are included in that file, I did turn on the video captions beforehand. The map I see so far looks pretty cool, now I just need to learn what I am looking at.

Martin, Apparently I cannot use the GSP app on my phone, it says I need an Ipad. I have an iPhone and and Android, however no iPad. I have a few days off this week so hopefully we can connect and have a zoom meeting.

This may sound crazy, but I would love to zoom and screen share sometime to pick your brain and learn a thing or two from you.

I guess I should have been more specific, he only wants raw data of the land. I am not actually creating a map for him. I have used DroneDeploy befroe and it is nice, but I am not ready to pay a monthly fee for their software. I only want to use Litchi for the waypoints.

Hello, Monday I will be mapping my first land parcel for a client, I am going to use the Litchi app to set waypoints and points of interest. I was wondering if anyone had any input that may help me out, I am welcome to all commentary. One thing I am wondering is what degree to angle my camera...

Interesting, I assumed once I was part 107 certified all my drones needed to be registered as such. From what you are saying, this is not true. I'm always learning something new here, that's why I love it.

I guess it depends on what you are doing, but typically I use LAANC for pre-approval for most of my flying. I am near two large airports and never had any issues.

Regardless, it still makes me nervous due to the fact I recently purchased a P4P v2.0. I just passed my part 107 and want to start off with real estate, and having any malfunctions would be a disaster. I have never had any issues with the mavic or Phantom 3 standard.

That makes me not want to use DroneDeploy while flying my drone. I had been looking into this software and after reading this I am hesitant.

Go to skyvector.com and read the charts, I also like to look at the Kittyhawk app.

I really need to take a photography class after I get my part 107. I have a P4Pv2 and it takes nice photos & video, but I am not a photographer by any means.

I envy you, I would love to be involved in something like that. I am currently studying for my Part 107, fairly close to going to take the test. If you are interested in meeting up sometime I am open to any information and gaining more knowledge.
