Can you set a 'point of interest' on the ground station so that it will allow the quadcopter to move from waypoint to waypoint while allowing the camera is aim at the subject?

I thought I'd answer your question. Once the lever is installed, connect your phantom to the Assistant software and calibrate the channel. Once it is calibrated the camera will move the full extent from facing forward to straight down. Hope that helps.

Anyone know of a better forum app than Tapatalk?!! Tapatalk sometimes gives an error when replying to a post so you end up sending it again to discover there was no error and the message had gone through. So ends up being a repeat.

Considering how low the RP 2-axis already is I would imagine that the skids would need to be upgraded to taller ones to accommodate the 3-axis upgrade. The P2V+ looks like it has taller skids as well.

How do you know if the board is an 8bit and not a 32bit? I'm thinking if Keri is making this gimbal upgradable with a 3rd axis then the board would need to be a 32bit.

I can't answer your query as I am waiting for my order. It might be that the control board on the back helps to balance out the gimbal to the quad. Once I get my gimbal I will be able to contribute to this post and let you know. ;)

As I understand the RP gimbal has been moved forward so there is a good chance that you may not see any legs or props appearing in your shot. We'll have to wait till the 3rd axis add-on becomes available. In regards to props appearing in shots, could one of the lucky RP gimbal owners please do...

OK, so maybe the new P2V+ has a better camera, has a 3-axis gimbal, can fly with ground station capabilities and able to fly further. So what else could be missing?? Well, with all the gizmos we'd like on our quadcopters which creates heavier payloads and reducing our flight times, perhaps DJI...

Thanks Wes. I see that the SimpleBGC board supports Bluetooth capability with an ad-on card. I wonder if this is included on RotorPixel gimbal. If it has the Bluetooth connecting board included we will be able to use a mobile app to change settings or choose profiles. That will be cool...
