You shouldn't be flying over the top of people. If you don't you can never hurt them. It's illegal to fly over the top of people in my country, should be in yours too if it's not.

I seem to be the only one in this thread using the phantom for 3d map making in large areas but I guess the hobbyists and photographers experience is useful as well. Check out Pix4d, that's what you want for the 3d maps, not lichi or any of those kinds of photography apps.

I think there's a setting to have multiple outputs. Otherwise it will only show one.

You need the cellular version to have follow me on ipad cause they are the only models with gps. Other than that a wifi version is fine. Follow me is pretty dumb anyway. Plus you can buy an add on gps unit which is more powerful anyway.

Actually there is no law against flying within 5.5k of airports or helipads. It's a recommendation.
