I'd fight it. According to their definition, even little microdrones are outlawed, as well as flying within your own backyard. Flying it below the fence line even. What if someone from the neighboring subdivision area flies over "their airspace"? What do they think they can possibly do...
Even a paper test is ridiculous, because again, controlling an actual aircraft isn't even remotely similar... Granted, I have no plans for using my P3P professionally, but it's still ridiculous and needs to be fought...
WHen you say "pilot's license", are you actually referring to a license for flying an actual airplane? As if controlling an airplane is even remotely similar to flying a quadcopter? And nobody finds this ridiculous?
My exact same experience... Eventually, I got it right... The problem with POI and flying around noon was the propeller shadow that resulted on the video on during one half of my orbit... Didn't "see" it until I was editing the video. Very disappointing since it was for a work function, and...
Except if the POI screen is covering the camera functions, hitting the button on the controller may start recording, but it may also stop recording. Without visibility, you won't know if you're recording or not.
Like others have said, hiding it works, but I dislike hiding it if it's the...
Oddly enough, if using the POI on the DJI GO app, it's interface covers up the right hand of the screen, and covers the video recording UI which irked me to no end...
No, I understand... but the sun was overhead, I wasn't necessarily flying into the sun.
Regardless, I see the other threads about this now. Now I just gotta figure out how to clean up the video...
Well the weird thing is it was between 12-1pm, and as such the sun should've been more overhead. It was a POI so was rotating 360 degrees... but it was certain when the camera was in one particular spot of the orbit... Now that I think about it, there was a great deal of water in that...
I flew my P3P on n iOS 9.02 iPad Air 2, and when the camera was pointed in the same direction as the sun, I notice some real bad banding in the video. What camera settings should I be looking at to prevent this in the future?

The "best"? The best will depend on people's needs and opinions. What I consider to be the "best", Tom down the street may fully hate & despise. Anytime you ask generically "what is the best" you're opening up the floor for a great deal of arguing.
The "best" is Adobe stuff. And it's cheap...
Another difference between us then, because when I see "Which is better" I take it for face value. I'm not in the habit of attributing what I believe is what they want when the statement is very clearly written out.
The other thing I don't do is go into a specific forum for a thing and ask...
Oddly enough, that's the last thing I do. I rarely, if ever, asks owners of a thing "which is better" because it's purely subjective, not to mention completely biased. But to each their own, be a follower or a leader...
