Hey , PV2+ never even looked like havin a flyaway, using Litchi app and love it.......heaps of flights, 3 batteries and all going well. purchased Nov 2014, still on first set of blades. i think its all down to prep as many others have said.....patience's is a virtue.

Even the sound of the glass breaking sounds fake..............Phantom should have bounced off.

Piece of cake...did this a couple of weeks back and love the far better camera control from the 'wheel', PV2+ is a different machine to control now thanks to all hands on sticks.

love my PV2+, bought Nov 2014......running 3.14 (from 3.04 due to the fact we get massive mag declination down here in New Zealand). was happy on 3.04 but the 'bowl' effect finally got the better of me and i updated. no crashes, no fly aways, still on first set of props..... lucky or too careful...

Hi Metar28 did you find the solution? if not here it is. i had exact same problem when i bought new the new type of battery for my P2V+,MC error and red flashing LEDs when trying to start motors,..... if you read the instructions that came with it it says to update the main board in the phantom...

New I did walk about 200 feet away from everything, out into a last years corn field, still had the compass calibration fail, always WITH THE BIRD POINTING DOWN AND BEING TURNED IN A CIRCLE! That is telling me something, I just don't have a clue as to what, but that is always where I get the...

same thing happened to me, stupidly i bought a second hand battery that the previous owner said had done one flight and assured me it was a genuine DJI product, turned out it wasn't. Phantom did everything right untill i went to start motors, red lights flashing and no go....swapped batteries...
