    There is also a P2 5.8 system, which I have in my non-vision P2. It clearly states "Phantom II 5.8G TX RF V3". As for the LiDAR system...I prefer to make all my own electronics gear and have enough knowledge and experience to make a LiDAR, just don't have the knowledge of the dji electronics...

    No problems here. Took it apart plenty, tweaked software with no problem. Now playing with hardware interaction to connect my own sensors and no problems. And LOTS of flying time here in southern Arizona. Paul

    If you can solder and program, you can get all you need from sparkfun.com, hook it up to and Arduino mini and have all the data you want for about $60-100, and weighing only a few grams. Hmmm, maybe I should make and sell some. Paul
