I'm one of all people with the same issue and I couldn't agree more with what you say!! I was in contact with DJI support a couple of weeks ago and in the end I didn't know if I should laugh or cry...it was nothing but pathetic. The moron I talked to didn't even confirm this is a well known...

I agree, I don't find what has been said so far as any kind of "proof" using this app would risk frying your WiFi module. Also IIRC wasn't the strength when using this app actually decreasing the signal rather than increasing it?

I know I should keep the batteries at 30-40% if I won't be using them for a while but for how long can I store them in this state without using them and without risking they will suffer from this in a bad way? Reason I ask is I'm in Sweden and we have the winter season ahead of us when I won't...

Sorry to hear that and thanks for sharing your experience. If this app indeed does increase the chance of costly hardware failure that is very good information. Too bad though if that really is the case because in my case the app noticeably improved the FPV.
