I keep waiting for a pissed off programmer to break DJI infrastructure so we can apply any firmware we may have had in the past, I bet ppl would pay money for that I know I would!
Thanks for this review Harry I have been contemplating a purchase as well, the HP sounds so nice and the only drawback is that nagging dork factor. I would be interested in knowing which set you ultimately use as your favorite once the new toy factor wears off. Keep us updated thanks!
OMG...I laughed so hard I almost shot coffee out of my nose...this looks like a terrorist wearing a burka....but when you think about it...its a low cost solution guaranteed to actually work
I would be pissed too...if I send you my quad to work on...I want MY quad back..first to send me a lesser model is a insult and then to send me a older series quad back after just tells me that you could care less about my satisfaction. It is like I send my Mercedes to the shop and they give me...
I would poke around the forums to decide if you want to chance a firmware update. I updated mine and have not been happy since...but that's my story... perhaps yours will be favorable???
Yes the fail safes have worked for me in every instance thus far. I frequently fly out of sight living in a densely treed area on the top of a mountain, and get nervous when I lose video feed. Maybe I am becoming a bit paranoid since I don't want to lose my quad and keep reading posts of people...
This is a true statement but when most people do stupid stuff they keep it to themselves LOL... just way to many people complaining about unexpected results when flying with the new firmware
Not saying the app is at fault for anything...however if you have decreased video distance on DJI go app that is not experienced in Litchi there may be a problem, I keep seeing reports of weird happenings and am trying to determine where the issue lies.
That is curious...and has me wondering if you updated your DJI go app....the reason I ask is because I am trying to determine what is causing all of this trouble..is it the firmware...the updated app?? or a combination of the two??...DJI wont tell us...they claim no knowledge or a hardware issue...
Man..I am so sorry to hear this...your drone even if found is done...once submerged in salt water cannot be saved unless you pulled it out immediately and flushed it with clear water.. the salt gets into all wiring, solder joints and conponents and rots them from the inside out. I am wondering...
I never had those notifications prior to the new firmware download...I get them too now...and I am NOT happy and what bothers me more than anything is DJI's stance on not allowing downgrades of firmware that worked well prior even to the point where P3P could downgrade and P3A could...
