I live 5 minutes from the terminal so if they refuse me I'll just swing back home and drop it off. Not sure what it would interfere with... Flying a quad is probably the least likely thing to get me in trouble on a cruise LOL. Hell maybe bringing the phantom will distract them from the other...
Re: I was investigated by the FAA for flying in Class C airs
It bugs the hell out of me that the FAA kept calling it a drone since they are so adamant about getting away from using that terminology in our classes.
Checking in.. I'm going on a cruise in July and thought about bringing mine. I have a buddy that shoots a lot over water. He posted this up today...

It was flying funny before, which is why the thing crashed and the prop bent in the first place. So I figured I'd change the prop and calibrate the compass. I went out today and turned on the controller and plugged the battery in but it wouldn't...
Forgive my ignorance, I tried searching to no avail. My phantom crashed and bent a prop. My friend had 2 spare props but they are the CF ones. Am I even going to notice or do I need to change anything in the settings to compensate? I'd just go test it, but I just got them a few minutes ago...
Okay, so I have a friend that was flying and the thing just took off to one side and dropped out of the sky. It fell on some rocks and got a bit of ocean spray on it. He ended up aquiring another one and just put this one to the side. I asked him if I could have to since he was just going to...
