Actually, I was confused. Sorry. I'm going this weekend, which is Martin Luther King weekend. Had it confused with Presidents Day. But if I like it and I get to fly with no issues, I might go back on Presidents Day weekend as well. I'll let you guys know how things go.

My wife and I will be in the area until Monday. We're both into photography, and I just got into drones and aerial photography and videos. I see where the high school is on the map. Still trying to decide on a cheap motel that's clean. I'm excited. Hopefully, I get to fly my drones...

I'm not familiar with Morro Bay at all. I just drove through once coming from Monterey. I need some guidance on where to go to fly as a beginner and get some decent shots.

I read a Morro Bay regulation (below) about aircrafts ("any aircraft"). Basically, you're not allowed to land or takeoff from the waters of Morro Bay. That doesn't restrict you from flying there. It also states "waters of Morro Bay", which means that there is no regulation against landing and...

Any news on droning at Morrow Bay? I was planning on going there for the weekend, but from what I'm reading, it doesn't look like they're very accommodating to droners.
