The Americans don't seem to be reporting burnt out wifi when running with after market antenna? Isn't the mod just bringing the wifi up to FCC strength? I'd surmise that there should be no problem with overheating. Unless I am missing something here? Viewing at 27dbm with no probs so far!!

I did the same and it did appear to stick around. Just run the report section of the App when connected as see if it still says 27dBm.

Yep should had been clearer, that I was talking about video range. I was more concerned with the data in my log. Is it typical and did my drone really change version as the mod persisted through the change.

Since doing the Papa Tita it has been saying 27dBm, but there was no improvement in range for me. But I downgraded to 1.05.0070 by putting the bin file on the SD card. Did the info thing on Papa Tita and noticed the change seems to have persisted despite the downgrade. Is this normal?? I...
