The FC40 has amazing value. A GoPro bolts right up if you decide not to use its wifi camera. You can do a lot with it for just under $500

These things are hard to diagnose once they crash. Your best bet is to get a H3-3D on there.

Flip it on craigslist or ebay

Just try to get a 2mm or above lens. Anything lower might have fisheye. www.hackhd.com sells lenses too, same supplier and ragecams.

Just make sure your buying the H3-3D standard version and not the one listed for the Phantom 2

The OSD is just the screen on the GoPro if I am not mistaken. People usually keep it on unless they are recording their girlfriend. Mark

The DJI AVL58 receiver with the ImmersionRC 600mw transmitter seems to be a popular option. If you want extreme distance get one of the 2W ones.
