Hi everyone;
I noticed that after the final firmware update that I no longer have a map showing in that little box in the right hand lower corner of my iPad Mini. It's a Phantom 4 Pro and a Mavic Pro I'm flying and neither one produces a map when I fly them.
Could anyone tell me why I have no...
One way to stop those stress cracks in their tracks is to heat up a regular sewing needle, (red hot) and stick it in the very ends of each of those cracks. Stick the needle in deep but don't go all the way through and that will stop the cracks in their tracks. They will not go past the hole...
I bought my Phantom 4 Pro on June 20th. 2016 (14 months now), and I fly it at least three times a week, about five hours each time. Other than wiping off a few tiny bugs with my home made eye glass solution when I get home, it's as pristine as the day it arrived.
I really don't know why some...
I don't think you're being very fair here. This gentleman was trying to be a responsible person by going somewhere to learn how to fly his drone properly. What exactly is wrong with that? Nothing, and I think he deserves credit for thinking that way.
It's not his fault that the instructors...
This, is a great idea. Advertise for them, negatively, with a photo of the guy and mention in the ad, everything you told us here including their name and address. They won't be in business long. Make sure you tell the truth in the ad so they can't come back on you.

The simple fact is, I just don't give a crap anymore. I've lost pretty much all the interest I had when I first bought them. First the Phantom 3 Pro, then the Phantom 4 Pro and then the Mavic Pro but when they're gone, then that'll be it for me. I am simply NO LONGER INTERESTED in flying...
I agree 100%. Canada has a 90 meter altitude restriction as well as a 500 meter downrange restriction and the last update LOCKED those two parameters into both my Mavic Pro and Phantom 4 Pro. I'm thinking WHY are the Chinese enforcing Canada's drone laws for them. THIS IS JUST PLAIN WRONG and...
I'm sick to death of DJI and their stinking updates. In Canada we are restricted to 90 meters in altitude and 500 meters downrange. Not that I would, but now I cannot fly higher than 90 meters, or farther than 500 meters from the controller. Why is China enforcing other countries laws? I've...
Thanks for all the kind replies everyone, and I apologize for not replying. I've been ill this past week or so and I'm just now getting back up and at 'em again.
I went out this morning but when I turned everything on ready to fly I was presented with two check boxes that asked me if I was ok...
If you're flying any RC aircraft in that way you are severely limiting yourself. An RC pilot should always learn to fly in any orientation for successful stress free flight.
Here's the easiest way to fly any RC aircraft. Put yourself in the seat of the aircraft you're flying and fly it as...
Sorry, I guess I can't help because I use that Apple crap myself on my Phantom 4 Pro and Mavic Pro, it's an Apple iPad Mini 4 which has served me well for quite some time now. A year or so I had another piece of Apple crap when I used an iPad Mini 2 for my Phantom 3 Pro that worked flawlessly...
I hate when I hear of a lost drone so I wish you well in locating it. I hope it doesn't have too much damage as well. Good luck, and please let us know how you make out.

Hi;
I will have when I can get the case in from the vehicle. I cannot do that until my son comes over later today as I'm wheelchair pilot also and can't do some things I used to do.
I will take a photo as soon as I get it in the house though.
Thanks for the reply.

I took my Phantom 4 Pro out this morning and noticed that there was no firmware upgrade indicated by the usual red "X" in the upper left hand corner of the screen as there sometimes is when a firmware update is requested by DJI.
I just assumed that the new/latest firmware that apparently asks...
