The only time i land on the ground is the first time i flew it and when i wanna show my neighbour that it land by it self. Other time its always handcatch. Period
2 p3a since early this year. Flight distance of over 90km... many hours of flight. No issue. 1 flyaway... my fault for forgeting to calibrate when changing to a new location.
My p3a flew even better now after the update. Lol i dont care about the hidden stuff. Now my transmission works flawlessly... easily 2km with full visuals... previously 2km with distorted image coupled with signals that come and go..
Lol. This just happened to me today!! Freaked me out as the visuals are gone. The bird is roughly 30m me at elevation of 60m-ish.... lucky it still hoover in place (a big thank you to gps) and i manage to fly it back closer to me. Restarted the go app but there is still no signal.
Gave up on it...
The DJI one is thicker and feels much sturdier, also a better looking foam, but similar non the less. Quality wise, similar built but materials of different quality. I have both, but i do think $150 for the OEM still abit to steep.

I bought both the $55 and the dji's $160 for both of my bird. Seems identical at first, but after closer inspection, the hardshell on the original dji's is "harder" and a wee bit more solid. While, the 55bucks hardshell is slighly less sturdy, and is missing the rubber footing for when u open...
