Make sure you have correct generation of GoPro .... works with GoPro Hero 3 or Hero 3+

Redo the firmware update, updating your remote control first and calibrate with the RC software, then do the aircraft firmware update and calibrate with the Phantom software. this has been discussed on multiple threads on phantompilots

Quick releases would be nice. Ease and convenience with anything is always a plus! But, I sold my flying squirrel suit & the Phantom flights are the only thing I use my GoPro camera for now. :roll:

Using the RC software assist, plug in your remote control tx and it will tell you if an updated firmware is available. If there is...download and calibrate sticks on that software, then plug aircraft in and use the Phantom assist software to again calibrate sticks and controls. I'm sure it is...

I'm not sure at this point if you are talking about the Phantom 2 Vision, or the Phantom 2 (non-vision). I don't know much about the Vision, but regarding the Non-vision, there is no "FPV app" that you would using at this point. Non-vision uses standard FPV equipment including a Video...

If you are talking about the WiFi app, the answer is NO. Never put your GoPro in WiFi when flying your Phantom...It will lose control and fly away.

Still yet, should be locking up and flashing green without having to go airborne or cycling the remote controller power switch (or any other trick). I wonder if DJI knows that this is happening and working on a fix?

could maybe use same two screw holes to attach two small hooks and stretch a girls hair band to each hook across the front of the GoPro.

Ive only flown my Phantom2 non-vision twice and both times it flashed yellow until I was airborne then got the green. I was gonna ask on here about that as well. Have you tried taking off and getting in the air?

I am sorry about the difficulties you are having. I noticed that you did not even see the Gimbal acknowledged on the upgrades section of the software assist. I think that means your Phantom (main controller) does NOT see it either. I would now only check one more thing really well.......the...
