I concur with shockwave199, in that you should turn off all those sensors for night flight. They're not going to be able to see what they need to avoid, and are likely going to cause more trouble than they're worth. Give that a shot and let us know!
That's good to hear. They seem to want to help when they can. I imagine that they get overrun with the "IT'S BROKEN!" kind of messages, so it can't be an easy job for them.
What was the issue with your battery?
I'd like to share with you the great service I've received from DJI. I've created a long blog post about this, but to cut to the chase:
I had one of the first P4P's off the line, and the thing was faulty from the beginning. I sent it back and DJI sent me a brand new one in return!

Welcome and we look forward to your footage!
The biggest tip I can give you is to not fly in the national parks. Yes the views are world class, however flight is not permitted within the national parks.
Chiming in on this conversation a little late, but I can confirm that you do need a SFOC. There are exemptions, however as you noted, #26 is almost impossible to comply with at this point.
If you are going from job to job trying to get a SFOC, then it's going to be hard to get approval and fly...
No it unfortunately doesn't log those. That's why it's important to keep a separate log of all your flights so that you don't miss anything. Here is a free flight log book for Excel or Numbers: Free Drone Flight Log Book – The Drone Trainer
