    Drone in Sinkhole

The biggest concern is losing contact with the drone due to it being down in a hole out of direct line of sight of the controller. Watch the signal strength closely and be certain you have aquired a good RTH point before you start you flight. If the signal strength gets weak I would not push the...

Pay for regular ground photos, free drone photos, no P107

The home owner suing to recover their deductible. Maybe the insurance company suing to recover their losses. In the U.S.A. it is a sue happy world. Anybody will sue anybody for anything if they think for a second they can get some money out of it. Sad but true.

Pay for regular ground photos, free drone photos, no P107

And what do you think I should do if he used the photos during advertising his farm for sale. Do you think I should file a law suit and take him to court. What would I sue for? Why don't we brush away all the BS and just tell it like it is. There are those that would love to see the drone...

Pay for regular ground photos, free drone photos, no P107

I believe the "intent" at the time the photo was take would come into play. For example, I took several photos of a friends farm a few days ago. This friend did not ask for the photo's to be taken nor did he even know they had been taken until I sent them to him. I just thought he might enjoy...

    Where is the doggone zoom?

I can see one in my future. I’d really like to find someone within a reasonable driving distance who had one I could try before spending the money but it is what it is.

    Where is the doggone zoom?

It would just be nice to identify individual animals without spooking them etc. Maybe one day!

    DJI Phantom pro 4 v2.0

If you get impatient and decide to attempt a drone/drone rescue PLEASE install a release mechanism to the bottom of the rescuer and attach your tether to it. That way if you do accidentally "hook" something else you can drop the tether and fly away. Just a suggestion.

    Drone detection at airports

I was unaware that they had made those illegal. I suppose I shouldn't have given all the grand kids those for Christmas. Hmmm

    Rant: Helicopter attacks drone

The reason he didn’t “fly away” could be that he was not flying VLOS and didn’t know the chopper was coming for him. If the competition was a private/closed set event then the drone had no business there.

    Where is the doggone zoom?

This may be true for you and the pictures you take but,,,,,,,,,,,,,, What about the real time view during flight. I'd like to have a closer view from further away at times for various reasons.
