I had to send it in to DJI for repair. They replaced the mother board. It had failed, but I don't know if firmware upgrade had anything to do with it. Anyway it's working now. Sorry you're going through the pain.

I bought P3P last spring and it worked fine last year. I did all the updates (Phantom 3 Professional fw v.1.8.8., rc 1.6, go app 2.6, latest ios for iPad mini). Bird still flies ok, and records video ok, and I can see the histogram change when light changes, but now there is no camera view on...

Yesterday I flew my P3P into a bush in a big field and searched everywhere trying to find it. The field was way too big with very tall grass and I might never have found it again. While I was looking for it, unbeknownst to me someone found it and put it on a bench, and the live video image it...

Thanks. FYI I bought a new thumb drive (Insignia USB 2.0 SD/MMC Memory card reader) at Best Buy and this solved the problem. My previous sd card reader, a Lexmark, was not recognized by the controller.

I was able to upgrade the firmware on the Phantom 3 Professional but not on the radio controller. I downloaded the latest firmware and followed all the instructions. On the RC I get only a red light and beeps, no blue or green light, and when I check the sd card afterward there is no .txt...

Good point. I probably wouldn't use it that often. I already look silly enough....
