I guess that I phrased my question poorly.... I meant to ask: "Is there an critical outside air temperature below which the P3 will not turn on AND which is not related to the battery temperature OR to the initial "warming up" the internal components need when first turned on.
Not aware that there is a minimum temperature trigger (ie a no fly temp) for the P3 itself, rather just for the P3 battery. Is Frankc's statement re minimum temp for "heli itself" true??
Comments/thoughts/reference(s) appreciated.
Agree with PVFlyer. His FPV Camera program is inexpensive, intuitive, easy to program, and works well with all the latest updates for a P3P controlled via an iOS product.
You need to set the switch in the DJI GO app to send the video to both the HDMI port and the USB port...... it will do this, but you need to activate the appropriate slider switch in the GO app
After watching this folder re Mission Planner and liking what I saw, I purchased your app on the "monthly subscription" plan. (have yet to fly a mission)
Question:
When PVFlyer has done several updates/upgrades, how will I know when and how to download these improvements?
Thank you, and I agree with your suggestion when updating to include FW 1.4.1. I knew about the battery update data contained in FW 1.3.2.
Did the updates last PM without incident, got 3 "success" texts...will fly this AM, good weather here in Virginia.
Perhaps this question has been addressed in one of the previous 400+ tweets, if so I missed it.
Question:
If upgrading from P3 FW 1.2.6+, can one go first to 1.3.2, skip 1.4.1, and go directly to 1.5.3 ? (ie can I skip 1.4.1, or not?)
Got new P3P from B&H last week (they move lots of stock, doubt this one was "old" stock).
It does not have cross-bracing under motors, the motors are the "old" style motor, FW was 1.1.9+ on both the bird and the controller. Controller was the "A" model. Picture on box showed bird with "old"...
Got a new P3P from B&H Photo delivered last week.
Appears to have "old" shell as I can see no cross-bracing under the motors.
Definitely has "old" style motors.
Picture on the box shows a P3P with the older motors.
Firmware installed apparently at the "factory" was: 1.1.9+ on the aircraft and...
