I had the same thing happen to me. It was because the last IMU calibration I performed was done after the quad had been powered on for a while and was hot. I powered off the P3 and put it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes. Then I powered it on and immediately did an IMU calibration. Now...

I had a similar incident last weekend. Mine was approx 3ft under water for about 30-45 seconds. Took it out of the water(fresh water lake). removed battery, removed camera and gimbal(dried that as best I could and put in bag of rice). Took off the top part of the shell and wiped everything down...

I just updated my controller using a plain USB thumb drive(128GB USB 3.0). Copied the firmware .bin file to the USB drive, plugged USB drive in to remote control USB port. Powered on remote control. It took maybe 5-6 mins?? I didn't have a USB->Micro SD adapter or I would have tried that first...

Does anyone happen to have the MAC/OSX version of 1.08. The Droneslinger site appears to have the Windows version only and the dropbox link on page 4/5 is no longer working. Thanks in advance!

Since you are a beginner you should be flying in Phantom or "Vision" mode. NOT NAZA mode. Also, you should make sure your compass is calibrated properly. heres an example video for calibrating the compass http://youtu.be/t2hfclQAjcM

Although you cable looks slightly different since it's split, they both appear to be routed the same way.
