I have launched from boat several times but always when stopped. Yesterday I tried several times while moving slowly and every time it tried to go aft (backwards) the moment I lifted off. Is this a reaction to GPS input? Should I have been in "NAZA" mode? Scratched up the props pretty good too.
Thanks but I have seen all those videos- they only deal with the shaft mis-alignment. I have yet to find one showing complete disassemble of other moving parts. My problem is not the shaft but somewhere in the top swivel area. I will just keep loking
I see plenty of vids showing gimbal shaft repair but pretty sure my buzzing and small shifts back and forth are coming from top gimbal. Any videos of total removal and inspection of potentiometers and other moving parts?
Just to add descriptive fact: more careful look shows camera making slight adjustments on vertical axis (2 degrees left, 2 degrees right, back and forth...) so problem must be in the TOP potentiometer; also if I hold at extreme angles it stops buzzing/hunting. Finally, if I try to do an IMU...
After a small crash I get a "gimbal error"; the camera in the app, and seems to align itself if I tip the quad, but it wont stop buzzing. Seems to come from the gimbal directly attached to camera (up and down direction). I have seen threads showing typical cause/fix (something about a splined...
I re-calibrated again- missed the IMU the first time. Fired right up (props off!) and I had a great afternoon flight. Thanks for the help RoyVa. Newbies be(aware)- incomplete calibration equals motors silent!
Sorry to be dumb- what is ESC? Also, aren't all four LEDs supposed to stay lit after initializing? Is it normal for only one set STAY lit? I cant remember if fore or aft, but the set that stays lit go to slow green after a moment but the others go out after startup and tone. Is there a log...
I recently had an indoor crash (thought I could PREVIEW a set of waypoints, pressed GO and it took off in my apartment!) anyway it got stuck wide open in a corner until I finally shut down the battery. Two nicked props but no other apparent damage. I went to test it (Props off!) and it wont fire...
I finally sent mine to Dronefly in Westlake Village CA after reading good reviews about them. They confirmed receipt, asked a few questions, and have not heard from them for about a week, which is OK. I am thinking about starting a drone repair business myself- all over the internet are stories...
The used one I bought on Amazon looks perfect but the camera just hangs there, buzzing and getting warm. I do not need another problem to analyze so back it goes. Back where I started from. PLEASE let me know if wi-fi module fixes- I do NOT want to send my whole machine backto DJI. Where did you...
I just received a PV2+ I bought slightly used from a high rated Amazon seller. We will see how it works with my controller and range extender. If it works fine I know it is something with the copter and will have to send it back.
Great. I just bought a used one from a high rated Amazon seller- just the copter with camera. Between the two I will have spares, and if the wifi module works for you let me know. The thing that mystifies me is why the range extender battery level is displayed yet the connection "failed"...
I have green lights there and everywhere else. I have done everything I have seen in all posts/instructions on this and DJI forums: rebind, upgrade all firmware, WIN drivers, Airplane mode, etc. Always end up the same: Connection to Phantom failed- although the batter level of the wi-fi extender...
