Hi
13 minutes came from my standard DJI battery that came with the Phantom. I am at sea level in Scotland. That is a very interesting point about the weight at the front. I'll try it out and thanks for the heads up to that thread on batteries, I am learning fast here!
I am a newbie. I have some new Floureon 2200mah batteries. They work fine carrying the FC40 camera but I get a low voltage indicator (flashing red light on the Phantom) immediately after take-off with the FC40 carrying a Walkera 3axis gimbal and SJ4000 camera. The voltage read-out on my lipo...
I am very new and have just fitted a Walkera 3 axis gimbal and SJcam4000 Wifi to an FC40. I also fitted prop guards. I appear to have cooked 2 no-name batteries with two very disappointing 3 minute flights! WHY? The extra weight of this rig is 250gms.
I have an FC40 with a (aluminium) Walkera 3 axis Gimbal and an SJ4000wifi cam -a total of 250grams. I am getting a hopeless 3 minute flight with a 2200mah battery.

Another newbie but here goes - I have an FC40 and was getting flight times of about 13 minutes with the FC40 camera. I have now fitted a Walkera 3axis gimbal with an SJcam and the flight time has dropped to a ridiculous 3 minutes. Have I done something wrong? It appears that other folk have...
