Hi Oso, yes it does. Just for further detail the remote has the red light on and the drone has the fast flashing Amber lights

Hi guys,
Wrote off my 1st P3A a couple of weeks back and after a battle got the insurance to pay...anyway replacement arrived today but can I get it to fly....
The drone and rc are both saying there's no signal/not connecting. Tried to recalibrate the remote/drone through re-pairing them but...
Update: argued the toss with the insurer, they said it was a model but the dictionary definition of a drone is a aircraft and not a model so on that basis they've paid out

Right apparently you cannot insure a drone for personal use in the uk, while its in flight. I've sent mine away to a uk repairer in Newcastle

I put it on my home insurance on an 'all risks' basis, but they consider it an rc model...given my 9-5 I am in a position to argue the toss so I hope to get something out of them

Thanks guys, cracked the case too and I got the dreaded flashing red light when I put the battery in and fired it up. Remote couldn't find it either. Is it terminal?
