Update: argued the toss with the insurer, they said it was a model but the dictionary definition of a drone is a aircraft and not a model so on that basis they've paid out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Right apparently you cannot insure a drone for personal use in the uk, while its in flight. I've sent mine away to a uk repairer in Newcastle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
