I don't have Litchi yet (I plan to buy it soon), but from what I've read about it, yes, it will continue its mission even when signal is lost. Then re-establish connection when it gets back in range. I'd like to hear from someone on here who has actually experienced it though.
I charged mine at the same time as well before I noticed that in the manual. The charger didn't get noticeably hot but the RC did take 3.5 hours to charge. Is that normal? (The main battery charged in about 1-1.5 hours.)
I've had friends in Facebook tell me if better not fly that thing over their property or they'll shoot it down, too. It's just ignorance really. I think a big part of the problem is everyone referring to them as "drones." That word has a very negative connotation thanks to the media and recent...
Apparently, my RC is up to date, but my aircraft is not. How do I go about updating just the aircraft. (Sorry. I'm sure this is a dumb question for you old timers, but I'm still new at this whole updating thing)...
I'm getting a notification that there is another upgrade available but it says to go to the DJI website and download the "Focus Assistant." Am I right in thinking that, as a P3s owner, I can disregard this update?
Yeah, I know. That's what it's supposed to do. It's a built-in emergency stop, but not everyone knows that. He said his quad fell out of the sky, so that's why I asked if he made that move with the sticks. [emoji106]
Back on the subject of indoor flights for a minute. Here's mine I did after my recent update. (Forgive the mess. We are remodeling part of the house and stuff is all out of place):
