I live half a block from beach and 85% of my flights are straight out over the Gulf of Mexico. I like it because there is little to no interference. Just keep winds and waves in mind.
I got my p3a in four days shipped from California. I just ordered carbon props and they shipped from China and got them with in four days. The drone was free shipping and props was basic shipping.
I think if the 4 fixes the issues that cause the most common types of crashes that it's going to be a game changer. The problem is the price of the 4. I'm sure most of its sales will be new pilots and not those upgrading.
I'm extremely impressed with the coverage of the plasti dip aerosol cans. Three coats of the flat black and three coats of chameleon kaleidoscope. It's cool that if I want to change it that it peels off.
I was worried about satellite signal loss but it did not faze it at all.
Get it straight from dji. I received mine with in five days using there free shipping. It came from California. They also give you money back in the rewards program.
Just this week I ordered carbon props from them and it was sent from there China factory and I even Received it with in four days.
just received my p3a from dji yesterday. i really wish i would have just got it instead of the standard version to begin with. the lightbridge and remote are worth every penny. first flight with it i took it up to 350 feet and out almost a mile and had no signal issue. if i attempted to do that...
i enjoyed the standard version but was not impressed with the distance i was getting. so im returning it and since the advanced and 4k are the same price at best buy, i cant decided. im leaning towards the advanced because of the lightbridge system.
