I bought a Nexus 7 (2013) for the sole purpose of using it with my P3A - it works great and I think is a perfect size to use on the controller. I have no experience with the Shield so can't compare. Battery life seems good on the Nexus but as its only used for my P3A, I don't know how it fairs...

Perfect - thanks Icarus. I know it was a question that might seem obvious to most but I wasn't sure if it meant charge to 100% then discharge to 40/50% or just go straight there. As I said, this is kind of battery care is new to me :) Again, thanks to all who took the time to help.

Thanks to everyone for your advice! Sorry for newbie questions but I don't want to charge this battery anyway that is not going to be good for it! To clarify - if I run by battery down, during a flight, to 30%, do I charge it up to 50% before storing?
