    I posted in the phantom 2 section but did not get much response. I have had my phantom since dec and have flown several times love it! Got a gopro hero 3+ black and purchased a h3-3d gimbal connected it to existing power cord on the 2 and connected to gimbal installed the interference board...

    Need help with new h3-3d dji gimble on my p2 v2

    Is there a way to check power to the gimbal to see what is reading and what it should read? I can't return the phantom I can return the gimbal. After the puff of smoke from the gimbal it still powers on with a red light on the gimbal.

    I connected it per the dji web site YouTube video,but after connecting my gopro hero 3+ black, I saw white smoke coming from the right side of the gimbal. This is the second one I have purchased that did the same thing...what am I doing wrong .. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks for anyone's...
