Yes. It comes on. I am getting the 15/8 error on mine. Black screen on the GoPro App, but the gimbal controls work.

Would any of you more skilled repair people be interested in trying to fix my gimbal top board? I am getting the 8/15 error as well. PM me and we could discuss price.

Tim, on this forum you could say "I fed a hungry child today" and SOMEONE would say or imply you were an idiot over and over and over. Be glad you don't have to live with them every day and keep flying. Thanks for sharing your mistake and it will make me mindful to watch my battery power closer.

Are you in a Mac or Windows environment? If in windows, you may need to install/reinstall the windows drivers that help recognize when you have plugged the quad or remote control into the computer. Here is a link to the phantom 2 Windows Driver.

I fly a P2 as well. If you can orient the AVL58 so that the antenna sticks out below the bird, you have a better chance of connecting at 800m. I used this antenna instead of the stock AVL58 antenna and this helped a ton If you want to get more distance, you'll need to mod your controller...

The kp index is a scale that rates geomagnetic activity. Solar flares and solar storms can interfere with the electronics that provide GPS data to your bird. The higher the index number, the more risky it is to fly. Here is a good link to this topic on this board.
