Aw crap. I'm in Seattle, 16 degrees East... Ugh. Knowing it to be the case I'll have to adjust course accordingly when planning a hover. On a positive note, I'm moving to Mexico in a couple of months so the declination will drop to 4 degrees East. Thanks for the heads up! Brian

OK, sorry to talk myself out loud here. I didn't install the driver. All good now... :/

Another follow-up: I tried calibrating the joysticks just to see if the Assistant was responding. Upon clicking "Start" there were no indications that the joysticks were responding. :(

I've read so much about how awful DJI support is so I'm leaning on y'all... Prior to PH 1.1.1 arriving yesterday, I downloaded and installed DJI assistant 2.20 from the DJI Phantom 1 downloads site. It's running on a Windows 8.1 laptop, fairly new. I charged my batteries (finally), started up...

It's been 3 hours now, ugh!

How long should it take to charge a new battery the first time? It's been flashing alternating red/green (CV) for almost two hours. Everything I've read says it should charge in an hour... When should I give up and call it a bad battery? TIA, Brian
