About to launch my new website... take a look

You never want to design a site that is optimized for people with fiber optic 1gb up/down. As a web developer with 14 years experience, I can tell you that you do need to trim down the front page content and use separate pages to display the trimmed content. That way users don't have to wait so...

    New with brushless gimbal

Re: Controlled? Tilt control works fine right out of the box, but you might want to calibrate it a bit to get more angle control. A more basic answer, yes looking up/down works with this gimbal.

How many people fly with Prop Guards?

Care to elaborate? Seems to be a pretty broad statement. I know prop guards have saved me from outright crashes on several occasions, and have yet to cause one, or any damage to my quad, or anything else for that matter. That being said, as others have noted, it all really comes down to what you...

    New with brushless gimbal

Sorry oderwaterfoto, I've been busy with work last few days. Got flooded with projects that need to be finished, so I haven't had time to make a step by step guide. However, that link that CarlJ posted is a pretty good start. With the Walkera gimbal, you won't need to do anything to the control...

How many people fly with Prop Guards?

Sounds like the sets you have are poorly made if they break at the slightest impact. I have had some pretty rough bumps with mine, and they have held up quite well.

I believe weight distribution is also a factor. You have all of the mass in the center of the gimbal, so that could be why it is reacting the way it does.

A good hex driver and you can easily attach and remove them in a minute or so. Not too bad if you like using them. I still use them because I fly in close quarters of buildings and tress, and it can just take a strong gust of wind to push you that extra 3 inches over and bump a wall.

    FRUSTRATED & OVERWHELMED HELP!

I would like to second what Gavinski said. Learn to fly a stock quad before you throw a ton of money into it. It sounds like you've done quite a bit of research, but you will still need plenty of experience flying before you will be proficient enough to reliably and safely fly at the distances...

As long as it's working for what you need it to do, that's all that matters. As for the 2 weeks, I guess that gives you a time-frame, dragonash.

    Must Have Accessories/Upgrades

I suggest you just fly it stock for a while, and then upgrade as you feel you need them. Everyone's purposes and fly styles will be different. What works for others, may not work well for what you want to do, so just have fun, and research upgrades as they become a necessity. The fc40 is a great...

Bleh. Sorry you have having problems with them. A good practice I find when ordering from a company is to look how easy it is to get in touch with customer service before you actually order anything. If you can get in touch with someone easy with either an 800 number, or live chat, then I go...

    Prop Upgrade for FC40

Where did you pick those up at? I'm interested to know how they perform.
