You can ship them to me, I'll PayPal you half the price and save you the time of listing them on eBay...

I was told to stop flying.

And this right is why we have so many lawyers and so much litigation in the US. :D I'm not arguing the law is solid, I'm arguing the intent of the law as written. Arguing is the wrong word.... Anyway, laws generally aren't "settled" until they've been litigated, and even then..... Wonder if...

I was told to stop flying.

Yes you can. At 401 feet, which now puts you in violation of FAA regulations. The law was clearly written to keep hobbyists and 107s from flying over these facilities.

I was told to stop flying.

Legaleese sucks. It can be confusing, probably intentionally in many cases. Here's how it reads: "A person commits an offense if the person intentionally or knowingly operates an unmanned aircraft over a critical infrastructure facility and the unmanned aircraft is not higher than 400 feet...

I was told to stop flying.

"operates an unmanned aircraft over a critical infrastructure facility and the unmanned aircraft is not higher than 400 feet above ground level" AKA: You can't fly a drone over those facilities. If you fly within the state law, you're in violation of federal law (ok...you're in violation of an...

Only 30 MPH in P4P Sport Mode?

I just upgraded mine and this thread reminded me to go check my settings. What kind of bizarre world is DJI operating in where they think it's okay to reset all the settings to default during a firmware update?! o_O

    > Which Gaming Laptop To Pick?

This. I have a 17" HP Omen with an i7-7700HQ and 6GB GTX 1060, it struggles with Premiere Pro CC and barely runs Davinci Resolve at all (playback is extremely jerky, scrubbing is useless, can't see transitions, etc). For the most part I'm only shooting in 1080p/60fps too, so that's not even 4K....

    Drone Insurance

Are they not going to cover you at all, or are they simply wanting to write the new AC under a new policy?

Undecided first time buyer: P4P or Mavic

I have the DJI backpack and use it all the time while riding my NON E-Bikes. With that said, I'm planning on buying a Mavic over the winter so I can throw it in a regular backpack. The P4P backpack is too big and has virtually no room for other stuff - so it's not practical for me in most cases.

!! UPDATE !! Is anyone else having multiple problems with the latest DJI GO 4 update ??

Since I updated to 4.1.11, I have had many of the same issues. -Image stream flashes green or cuts out often, even at extremely close distances. -My range has decreased noticeably. There are areas I used to fly from, achieving distances of at least a mile before I started having signal issues...

Guess DJI has told us to buy new tablets?

I have an LTE iPad Mini 4 that I've been using since I got my P4P, and I too have had issues after the last App update. I have a glitchy video stream back to the tablet that is choppy and gives me an occasional intermittent green screen, taking pictures often times results in a long delay...

    Drone Insurance

I have a State Farm Personal Articles policy (assume the same as the OP) on my P4P. I emailed a random agent in my area (I don't use SF for any of my other insurance needs), he responded requesting the SN and receipt for the AC, he wrote the policy for the full purchase price with no...

Do most of you have insurance?

I have my P4P insured through State Farm for the purchase price on my receipt ($1350+tax) for $30/year with no deductible. I'm in Iowa. Liability would be covered through my homeowners policy, with I'm assuming the standard $1000 deductible.

Using battery 5350mAh on P4 Pro

I have two 5350 batteries thanks to a crappy retailer on NewEgg's Marketplace. I use them all the time and have no issues. I don't really push my batteries to the limit very often, so I don't notice much of a flight time difference.

What do you use as a landing/take off pad?

I somehow managed to lose one of the feet, but I made this so I always had a level and clean spot to take off and land.
