The videos recorded on the aircraft itself have nothing to do with what you see (or record) on your tablet. If the videos in the aircraft are bad then you need to look at a possible issue with the camera.

What FAA regulations specifically? Are there local class B or C Airports nearby? Temporary Flight restrictions?

Place more waypoints. Heck place one or two in the dead center on the two longest points.
I do missions that extend past the range of my of my RC. You need to keep waypoints closer together.

Do you have a light meter? I use an app based one. Does okay. Obviously not pro grade but works decent for knowing what setting works best for which filter.
