Place more waypoints. Heck place one or two in the dead center on the two longest points. I do missions that extend past the range of my of my RC. You need to keep waypoints closer together.

Do you have a light meter? I use an app based one. Does okay. Obviously not pro grade but works decent for knowing what setting works best for which filter.

Update made it worse for me as well. I talked to them and they advised against using a iOS device. Android is preferred.
