Can you tell for sure that they actually replaced the hardware or you can`t be 100% sure?

I think you should be fine with just disabling location reporting, at least this is what others are saying... I don`t have iOS so can`t confirm.

Thaks for sharing this with us! I se you had a learning experience with this flight Drone on and safe flights. Watch out with the iOS version and make sure you turn off all the location reporting options, or you will be back to CE mode

Ones you switch to fcc and install DJI GO 3.1.8 you are all set. No need do do this every time.

Yes-that`s the place to check the channels. Just in case i want to mention that with version 3.1.22 i was able to do this as well. My video from the earlier posts where i was showing how the frequency switching works, was made with version DJI GO 3.1.22 :-)

Step 6 is the right step to see the window. Just restart the app and press the icon for the transmission signal strength and it will take you to frequency window. There you should see the 2.4 and 5ghz options. Press on 2.4ghz and scroll the channels to the left to see how many channels you have...

The SDK files for P3SE are not released by DJI yet.

The reason i mentioned 3.1.8 version was, because more and more people are using it in order to keep the FCC after they switch to it with newer one and there is no option to choose the frequencies.

How do you ignore the upgrade? when i try to start the propellers the app does not let me. Its telling me that the plane is locked and the flashing back lights are solid red color.....
