WOW really?? bought brand new P3
and it wouldn't activate...sent it back for repair and now it's worse..... put the battery in and now shuts down immediately..at least I got to the activation process before..yeah you'll be getting this back..DJI is pretty much garbage now.
Yes...just bought a dji Phantom 3 barebones BRAND NEW ...Meaning..no remote and no camera...everything switched over just fine..can see the camera view for a second , so you know everything works...but then this activation process kicks in...and that's where you get F**ed...half dozen different...
I replaced my board and checked it to see if flew and it did. However I also needed a couple of updates. After the udates is when I started getting this error. Sometimes it will start up but, more often will not and this error comes up...I'm wondering if it's more of a software glitch.
I recalibrated the controller as well and then it seemed to work fine ubtil I shut the unit down and then came back...very hit and miss with more on the miss side...worked a couple of times and the esc error keeps coming back...seems like a software glitch to me.

Yeah and look at the cable connection being very close to the skin...mine took a fall from about 25 feet and bent over the cable connections as well as breaking the camera gimbal...little over 800.00 to repair...Now I'm having firmware issues ESC error after updating..hit and miss whether it...
A couple of things in the phantom3 pro/adv I've noticed while doing some reading. I have the phantom 3 advance and yep, I crashed it. I went out over the lake I live on, only about 30 feet above the water and strait out. I didn't notice that after I went a ways out that i had rotated it...
