I can no longer alternate the Go Pro camera between facing straight forward or facing 45 degrees down using my Remote Control. The Gimbal still keeps the camera steady. The Black Pearl FPV still works fine. I must have unknowingly changed something when the Phantom was hooked up online. Any ideas?

It was the battery. Weird. I tried a different battery and it worked fine. The battery that didn't work had all 5 bars lit as if it was fully charged.

I've done this before and had no problem. I get the horizontal calibration done and the LED's turn solid green. When I try and do the vertical calibration, only the back LED's turn on and they are solid red. What am I doing wrong?

I was wondering the same thing. I lost my Phantom II in the ocean today. I waited about 45 seconds for it to lock onto GPS but I didn't check to make sure it finished finding 6 satalites. I figured it would find them right after it started flying. I flew it out of sight thinking it would be...

I finally had to just tape it shut. How many others have this problem?

Anyone install Fat Shark goggles on their Phantom I? I am thinking of getting them and a gimbal.

Ouch! I fly mine over the ocean and have lost 3 of them before I learned how long the battery REALLY lasts and not to forget to put it back in GPS mode before letting it fly itself back. A new one is found in the water every week where I fly mine.

I flew my Phantom 1/2 mile away from it's launch site and then the GPS flew it back in about 4 minutes. Has anyone flown their Phanton 3/4 mile or 1 mile away from them and either landed it or even flown it back?

I lost one in the ocean the same way. Salt water means no way of working again. I was told it could sit in a lake for a year and it will work again.

I talked to a dealer and he said I just flew it too long and the battery ran out of juice. In a perfect environment like indoors and no wind and hovering or flying slowly he said it could go 10-12 minutes. But carrying a camera and doing circles and flying fast will run the battery down...

I haven't found it yet but I will in the next few days. I am wondering if it stands a chance of working again. I know a dealer who could replace the motors if everything else will still work.
